FIND Festival 2025 this month marked a milestone at Ekya Schools that feels equal parts humbling and electrifying. We turned 15. Fifteen years of reimagining what learning can be. Fifteen years of questioning, experimenting, and building a culture where young people grow into thinkers, creators, and doers.
And honestly, there couldn’t have been a more perfect moment to host this year’s FIND Festival, themed Learning Gone Wild. At Ekya NICE Road Campus, we set the stage for educators, students, parents, researchers, and creators to step into a shared space of curiosity, courage, and possibility.
A Festival Where Learning Refused To Stay Still!
FIND 2025 wasn’t just an event. It felt like a living, breathing snapshot of what learning becomes when you take off the boundaries. Across the Ekya NICE Road campus, the day unfolded in colour, conversation, and hands-on exploration.
Visitors engaged with:
• Design Thinking challenges built around real-world sustainability
• Student-led showcases that revealed how curiosity can turn into meaningful projects
• Conversations with educators, researchers, and innovators about the future of learning
• Author Speak sessions on mental health, resilience, and the human side of education
• Installations, children’s activities, and family co-learning experiences through the learning showcases and more!
• Music, food, and eco-friendly pop-ups that gave the festival its warm, earthy vibe
Every corner held a story. Every room held an idea. Every interaction held that unmistakable hum of a community that believes learning can, and should, feel alive.
At the heart of it all was a simple truth: learning doesn’t belong inside notebooks. It belongs in the world, in our hands, in our reflections, and in the actions we choose to take. At FIND 2025, learning really did go wild!
Ekya PDI at FIND Festival 2025: Where Curiosity Met Craft
Ekya PDI brought its own spark to the festival this year. With 5 workshops running across 3 rooms, each space had its own energy and flavour.
From the StoryPedagogy Masterclass to Let Nature Into Your Classroom
From When Play Turns Lessons into Experiences to Wild Encounters
From hands-on explorations to a screening of the film Graffiti
Every workshop stayed rooted in one idea: learning is richer when it’s lived.
One Highlight
Our PDI booth turned into a small but mighty ecosystem of its own, this is the third time we are hosting our booth! Across the day, educators, leaders, parents, and alumni walked in with questions and walked out with ideas. Conversations ranged from experiential learning, early childhood education and “rethinking” what school can be. These conversations are fuelled by programs we offer, check them out here: click me
A Reflection: Why We Need Experiential Education More Than Ever
If there is one thread that ran through FIND Festival 2025 this year, it’s this: Children don’t remember what we tell them. They remember what they experience.
When learners build ecosystems in games
When they craft stories that become frameworks for inquiry
When they walk barefoot on grass and reflect on their senses
When they restore a heritage site and feel the weight of history
They’re not just learning content. They’re building perspective. They’re learning to question, imagine, feel, and act. And isn’t that the whole point of education?
As educators, this is the world we want to help shape.
A world where learning isn’t a performance, but a lived reality.
A world where the curriculum isn’t a boundary, but a starting point.
A world where the classroom isn’t confined to four walls, but opens into the real one.
So what comes next?
That’s the exciting part. FIND Festival 2025 wasn’t a conclusion. It was a spark.
And if this year showed us anything, it’s that when learning goes wild, children don’t just grow. They transform. So, learning is transforming, are you?
